7th INFANTRY DIVISION SUPPORT COMMAND
Headquarters and Headquarters Company

Constituted 1 July 1957 in the Regular Army as Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 7th Infantry Division Trains and activated in Korea.

Consolidated 1 July 1963 with the 7th Infantry Division (activated 7 November 1943 as the Band, 7th Infantry Division), and consolidated unit reorganized and redesignated as Headquarters, Headquarters and Band, 7th Infantry Division Support Command.

Reorganized and redesignated 30 June 1968 as Headquarters, Headquarters Company and Band, 7th Infantry Division Support Command.

Inactivated 2 April 1971 at Fort Lewis, Washington.

Redesignated 21 October 1974 as Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 7th Infantry Division Support Command and activated at Fort Ord, California (Band element concurrently withdrawn - hereafter separate lineage).

Inactivated 15 September 1993 at Fort Ord, California.
